Tracy Allen Botelho, 56, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away at his home.
Tracy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, to the late Robert Lee Botelho and Laura Raye Botelho (Bennett). He spent much of his childhood at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Upper Michigan before returning to Manchester in 1988. He graduated from West High School in 1989 and later earned an associate degree from New Hampshire Technical Institute.
Tracy spent 30 years working for Dunkin’, beginning as a custodian and eventually becoming a baker. He took pride in his work and in the many years he spent as part of the Dunkin’ family.
Those who knew Tracy will remember him for his generous heart, sense of humor, and ability to turn an ordinary conversation into a story, joke, or piece of trivia. He loved playing cribbage, Tuck, and other games with family and friends and was always ready for some friendly competition. He was an avid reader who enjoyed playing video games and collecting comic books. A devoted Chicago sports fan, Tracy proudly followed the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.
Tracy had a grin that could brighten a room and a conspiratorial twinkle in his eye that often made you wonder what story, joke, or bit of mischief was coming next. His stories, humor, and unique way of looking at the world will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tracy was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Botelho and Laura Raye Botelho. He is survived by his brother, Michael Botelho, and his wife, Tamara Nedjar; his sister, Devona Jackson, and her husband, Christopher; his nephews, Ryan and Gabriel; his niece, Amanda; his close family friend, Sue Amlaw; and several aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Details regarding the service will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Tracy’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
Tracy will be remembered for his stories, his generosity, and that unmistakable grin and twinkle in his eye. He leaves behind memories that will continue to bring smiles and laughter to those who were fortunate enough to know him.
