Una C. Heffron

Una C. (Lundergan) Heffron, 97, formerly of Medford Farms, Goffstown, NH died October 30, 2004 at the Laurel Center in Bedford, NH. She was born in Danvers, MA on July 31, 1907, the daughter of Cornelius and Mary (Bowen) Lundergan and had been a New Hampshire resident since the early 1980’s. Earlier in her life, she was an active volunteer at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Danvers. She also loved to play bingo. She was predeceased by her husband, Augustin P. Heffron who died in 1981 and by her son, John B. Heffron, Sr., who died in 1983. Family members include four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins. In Her Life: She was very close and involved in the lives of her four grandchildren, Kathryn M. Gagne and Christine A. Heffron both of Bedford, NH, Patricia M. Seaman of Londonderry, NH and John B. Heffron, Sr., of Keller, TX., and was proud of her four great grandchildren, John A. Gagne, Matthew J. Gagne, Logan J. Seaman and Elizabeth D. Heffron. She also was close to her only daughter in law, Marie F. Heffron of Bedford. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford. Urn burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Foundation, 1055 Taylor Avenue, Suite 201A, Baltimore, MD 21286.
