OBITUARY NOTICE

VERONICA I. JONES ("MONICA")

MANCHESTER – Veronica I. (Hogan) Jones, 86, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at her residence, in Manchester.

Mrs. Jones was born on November 3, 1926, in Panama, the daughter of the late Leonard and Kathleen (Patrick) Hogan. She married the late Willis McKinley Jones on November 29, 1951.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jones was employed as an accountant and worked for the United States Government.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Arleen Hogan Thompson, Ivy Hogan Quintyne, and Sadie Hogan and three brothers, Richard Hogan, Frank Hogan and Kenneth Hogan. The surviving members of her family include; her seven children, Gregory D.H. Jones, of Hooksett, NH; Haydn A.H. Jones, of Rumford, ME; Ronald K.H. Jones, of Manchester, NH; Kevin R.H. Jones, of Lowell, MA; Monica M.H. Jones, of Los Angeles, CA; Paul M.H. Jones, of Manchester, NH; Willis M. Jones, Jr., of Andover, MA; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; four brothers, Lloyd Hogan, Roy Hogan, Ramon Hogan, Guy Hogan; daughters-in-law Loretta Jones, Rosemarie Jones, Valerie Manning-Jones, Heidi Jones, and Julie Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday. May 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Bedford Road Baptist Church, 67 Bedford Road, Merrimack, New Hampshire to allow those reside locally to pay their respects. Celebration of Life services will also be held at the family reunions in North Carolina in June 2013 and in Panama in August 2013.
