Miss Veronica M. Kula, 92, of 200 Hanover Street, Manchester died suddenly August 22, 2000 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on March 17, 1908 the daughter of Walenty and Mary (Kowal) Kula and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was a graduate of St. Casimir School Class of 1922. She worked many years for Chicopee Mills and retired from Pandora Knitted Mills. Miss Kula was a member of the Smile Center. Family members include three sisters Mrs. Emelia J. Sakowicz, Mrs. Frances Motta and Mrs. Angela Jasinski, all of Manchester, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Wednesday evening from 5 to 8. Her Mass will be on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in St. Hedwig Church. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
