Veronica "Ronnie" J. Mullen

After fighting a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Veronica (Ronnie) J. Mullen, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with family members at her side. Ronnie was born in West Frankfort, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Gene and Cecilia Rodrigues. Ronnie is survived by two sons; John and his wife Melissa and Glenn; grandchildren Adam, Gavin, Harley and Kaplan; great grandchildren Mia, Hazel, and Kasper; and siblings Gene Rodrigues and his wife Sheryll, Donna Caswell and her husband Ken, Tom Rodrigues and his wife Donna, Wayne Rodrigues and his wife Irene. Ronnie was the former wife of John Mullen and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In her younger years, Ronnie worked for the Zayre Department Store and was a member of the civil air patrol.

Ronnie was a homemaker while her boys were young and enjoyed her time with family and friends. When she rejoined the workforce, she had a long career at Lakes Region Linen in Laconia. She had very fond memories of her time there and considered it her 2nd family. When she retired from Lakes Region Linen, she worked for Dress Barn in Tilton.

Ronnie enjoyed coloring, word search books, country music, her friends (especially Linda and Frannie) and her family. Ronnie also enjoyed her family trips to Walt Disney World and cruising on Disney ships. She became best buddies with Shadow, the Rottweiler. They spent a lot of time keeping each other company when Ronnie lived in their home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th from 2:30PM – 5:00PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 19th at 12PM at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 2233 Robeson Street, Fall River, MA.
