Veronique Duhamel

Veronique Duhamel, 98, formerly of 9 Hickory Lane, Bedford, NH died May 12, 2002, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on June 5, 1903, the daughter of Adolphe and Anastasia (Dubois) Dumas, was one of 13 children, and had been a resident of this city for most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton and enjoyed cooking, sewing and doing crafts., Mrs. Duhamel is the widow of Wilfred Duhamel who died in 1954. Family members include a son, Donald Duhamel of Manchester, a daughter Mrs. Irene Paradis of Bedford, six granchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother Paul Dumas, a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Blanchette, both of Manchester, several nephews and nieces. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 o'clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church, Manchester, NH, due to repair work at St. Elizabeth Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetey.
