Victoire S. Laurendeau, 78, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024. She is the loving wife of Marc Laurendeau with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Victoire was born in Saint Hilaire de Dorset, Quebec on September 28, 1945 to the late Cyprien and Regina (Goulet) Lacroix, the youngest of 8 siblings. She was educated in Canada and shortly before her 19th birthday, met and married the love of her life Marc. Together they moved to New Hampshire, spending the past 60 years in Manchester, where they began a family. Victoire was a master embroiderer and knitter. She retired from Indian Head Athletic after 12 years and enjoyed knitting slippers for her loved ones in her spare time. Along with knitting, Victoire adored her children and grandchildren. She never ever missed a sporting event for them, whether it be in person or on TV, always showing up for her family. Victoire's legacy is not only the beautiful garments she created but also the enduring memories of love, warmth, and togetherness she leaves behind in the hearts of all who knew her.
Along with her husband Marc, Victoire is survived by her children, Linda Boucher and her husband Mark of Manchester, Sylvain Laurendeau and his wife Amy of Allenstown, and Ricky Laurendeau and his wife Katherine of Bedford; 13 grandchildren: Jessica, Adam, Jacquelin, Makayla, Samantha, Dean, Allison, Eric, Natalie, Fallyn, Conner, Kaleigh, and Maci; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Lucille, Pauline, Raymond, Jerome, Evangelist, and Monique Lacroix; and many nieces and nephews.
