Victoria M. Goss, 97, of Manchester, NH died Saturday October 11, 2008 at the Ridgewood Nursing Home in Bedford following a period of declining health.
She was born on October 3, 1911 in Derry, NH, the daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Pitrowski) Irzyk. She was educated in the Manchester school system. She was a lifelong resident of the area.
She worked in the printing business at McGraw and Edison in Manchester for many years.
Mrs. Goss enjoyed playing the nickel slots at Mohegan Sun and taking bus trips to Atlantic City, NJ. She also enjoyed candlepin bowling on Sundays, find a word puzzles and making polish food. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and taking family trips with them.
She is survived by her son, Robert Goss of Concord; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and her two sisters, Tony Carry of California and Helen Blevens of Deerfield. She was predeceased by her husband Vaughn Goss and her daughter Elaine Garon.
