Virginia H. Pineau

Virginia H. (Elkhill) Pineau, 90, formerly of 8 Mason Avenue, Hooksett, NH, died January 20, 2000 at Maple Leaf Health Care Center, Manchester, NH. She was born in Quincy, MA on December 2, 1909, the daughter of John and Hedwig (Maki) Elkhill. She resided in Quincy for over 60 years before moving to Hooksett in 1971. She was the widow of Ernest Pineau who died in 1968. She was a member of the Hooksettites senior citizens organization for over twenty years. Family members include her son, Francis Pineau of Hooksett; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Littlewood of North Easton, MA; and nephews and nieces. Urn burial will take place this Spring in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy, MA. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
