VIRGINIA AGNES (THOMPSON) STARK
WHITEFIELD, NH Virginia Agnes (Thompson) Stark, age 78, passed away on October 28, 2008 at the Littleton Regional Hospital due to heart complications.
Virginia was born on August 22, 1930, a daughter to William B. and Agnes K. (Martin) Thompson, in Orford, NH. She resided in Littleton for most of her life until moving to the McIntyre School Apartments in Whitefield.
Virginia was employed by Connors and Hoffman Footwear until 1974, after which time she stayed home and cared for children for several years. She was a member of the Littleton Eagles Club and the American Legion. Virginia enjoyed being active playing bingo, fishing, cooking, and being associated with the penny social. She loved spending time with her family and friends at the McIntyre School and doing things with her best friend, Ann.
Virginia is survived by her sons and daughters, Bruce R. Stark, Patricia DeFosse and her husband, Robert of Lisbon, NH, William Stark, Irving Stark and his wife, Deb of Dalton, NH, Cheryl Paul and her husband, Fred of Whitefield, NH, Edward Stark and his wife, Jen of Dalton, NH; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and her best friend Ann Way of Whitfield, NH. She was predeceased by father, William B. Thompson in 1977, her mother, Agnes K. Thompson in 1966, her husband, Irving P. Stark in 1978, a son, Frank Stark in 2006, a grandson, Josh Stark in 2008, two brothers, Richard Thompson in 1974 and William M. Thompson in 1999, and a sister, Harriet A. Thompson in 2003.
SERVICES A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery followed by a gathering at Edward and Jen Starks home in Whitefield, NH.
