Vivian B. Petty, 65, of Bedford died January 18, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center following years of declining health. Vivian was born on August 8, 1939 in Manchester, the daughter of the late Alfred and Lena (Gagne) Ballard. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who cherished her grandchildren. Vivian enjoyed crocheting and was well known for her beautiful afghans. Family members include; her husband of 39 years, David L. Petty, Jr.; one daughter, Linda Petty of Manchester; two granddaughters, Tiffany Dean and Kristen Dean both of Manchester; two sisters, Connie Gaiero of Manchester and Carmen Thibeault of Randolph, MA; several nieces and nephews; and four aunts. There will be a Memorial Reception on Saturday, January 22nd from 11:00 AM until 12:00 with a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
