Walter Thomas Crooker

Walter Thomas Crooker, age 84, passed away peacefully December 22, 2023 after an extended illness. Born in Nashua New Hampshire, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Levesque) Crooker. Walter was raised with his siblings William and George, (both deceased), Donald, Sisters Irene and Hazel, and John.

Walter chose to serve his country and joined the United States Marine Corps. We, his family, are so proud of his service and that he fought valiantly until the end. Ooh Rah Dad. You are our Hero. We all love you so much. 

Walter had four children with his first wife Noreen Turner Crooker, (deceased); Kerry Ploss and her late husband Michael; Kevin Crooker; Erin Turner and her partner Brian Goulet; and the late Sean P. Crooker. Walter is survived by his four siblings Donald, John, Hazel and Irene. He also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren; Noel Crooker, Kianna Crooker Caitlyn Brown, Erika Ouellette, Rhiannon Turner, Ryan Crooker, Forrest Brown and Finley Brown. Walter also has many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. 

There are no visiting hours. Arrangements will be provided by Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
