Walter J. Debski, 72, formerly of 132 Sewall Street, died July 7, 2000, at Hanover Hill Health Care Center. He was born November 8, 1927, in Manchester, NH the son of Edward and Mary (Hudzik) Debski and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was the widower of Aline (Jacques) Debski who died in 1994. Walter was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1945 and served on the committee for the 50th school reunion. He was also a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and MBA. He retired from Lockheed Sanders after 27 years of service where he was a manger of the Magnetic Components Department and received numerous government awards for quality. He was a Navy Veteran serving during W.W. II and the Korean Conflict. He loved to fish. Family members include two sons, Barry Debski of Santa Clara, California and Douglas Debski of Manchester, a daughter, Mrs. John (Paula) McSorley of Nottingham, NH, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, a sister, Mrs. James (Leah) Collier of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Theresa Church. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery.
