Walter “Frank” Buck, 90, of Manchester NH, passed away peacefully on September 2nd , surrounded by his family. He was married to the late Agnes “Betty” (May) Buck

Frank was born on April 27th, 1933 son of the late Walter and Elinor (Osmers) Buck in Deposit New York. Frank attended Philips Exeter Academy and then went on to continue his education at MIT.

After graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he served in the Army Chemical Corps. Following his service, he started his first job at US Radium located in Bloomsburg PA where he and Betty met. They went on to enjoy 63 wonderful years of marriage. Frank then moved the family to Massachusetts where he worked at New England Nuclear/DuPont where he managed Cyclotron operations until retirement.

He was an avid golfer and could be seen (and heard!) on many a local golf course all over New England. He was a lover of many sports including baseball, football, basketball, hockey and sports car racing. He and Betty enjoyed being “snowbirds”, spending many of their winters in the Ft Myers Beach FL area. Frank was a lover of good food, a nice Manhattan and of course a good cigar.

He is survived by his children & their spouses Danny & Donna Buck, Dennis & Charlene Buck, Patrick & Lisa Buck, Ellie & Bryan Webb, and Julie & Matt Kfoury. He was the beloved grandfather to Kylie, Jonathan, Ben, Erin, Erik, Abigail, Kasey, Allison and Sophie. He is also survived by his 2 brothers & sister’s in-law, Emory & Ann Buck and David & Judy Buck.

Frank was predeceased by his wife Betty who passed on May 11th, 2023 and his daughter Amy Buck, who passed on October 2, 2021.

Frank was a one-of-a-kind husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  We’ll love and miss him until we meet again.
