Watson W. Baker, 83, of Eel St, Boscawen, died Dec. 17, 2010 peacefully in his sleep after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Virginia (Copley) Baker who died in 2005.
He was born in Middleboro, MA on Oct. 10, 1927. He graduated with honors from Harvard University and went on to work as an insurance agent. For many years after that he and his wife bought and sold antiques.
He leaves a son, Watson Fredrick Baker and his wife, Suzanne, of Wendell, North Carolina, and a daughter, Mary Ruth Charette, and her husband, Martin of Boscawen, NH and several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is predeceased by his son Richard in 1973.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 10:00am in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
