Wayne J. Hoague, Jr., 49 of So. Newfane, VT passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on August 25, 1965, the son of the late Wayne J. and Babe (Chaplin) Hoague, Sr.
Wayne was educated in the Oxbow, VT school system. He was the owner/operator of Wayne's Cleaning Service for many years. He also was the Director of the South Newfane Williamsville Volunteer Fire Co Inc.Wayne was intrigued with lights, he owned many flashlights and had all his vehicles outfitted with every light possible.
He is predeceased by two brothers, Shane and Skylar Hoague and a sister, Wanda Whidden.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Jones-Hoague of So. Newfane; two brothers, Daniel Hoague of Swanton, VT and Kevin Hoague of Ashuelot, NH; two sisters, Debbie Barrett of Highgate, VT and Raven Hoague of Sheldon, VT; a step-mother, Janette Hoague of Swanton, VT; six grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephew and cousins.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Newbrook Fire and Rescue Department, RT 30, Newfane, VT 05345. The KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, 57 High St., Brattleboro is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Newfane Williamsville Volunteer Fire Co Inc., 24 Dover Rd., Williamsville, VT 05362 or to Faye Jones-Hoague, PO Box 4, So. Newfane, VT 05351.
