WILBUR "Bill" W. CALLENDER
LISBON, NH â Wilbur W. Callender, 92, died on May 21, 2018 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH following a fairly brief period of declining health.
Bill was born in Littleton on October 16, 1925, a son of Robert and Ada (Wells) Callender.
For many years Bill worked at Sugar Hill Furniture in Lisbon where he was a manager to Sidney Perlo and later to Bruce Perlo. He also worked for a brief period for DCI in Lisbon.
Bill was active in the Lions Club, where he was a King Lion and participated in Biddy Basketball and Baseball. His real passion, however, was stamp collecting, which he did for many, many years and collected many volumes of stamps.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Gould) Callender and his sister, Elizabeth Callender.
Surviving family members include a son, James, a grandson Taylor, and a great-granddaughter, Colby.

SERVICES â Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 30th at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31st at 11:00 AM at the Lisbon Shared Ministry White Church with Rev. Lyn O. Winter officiating. Burial will follow in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Lisbon.
