Wilfred E Buzzell

Mr. Wilfred E. Buzzell, 87, of Goffstown, NH died October 17, 2010 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

He was born on July 1, 1923 in Haverhill, MA the son of the late Elmer F. and Corinne (Duval) Buzzell. He was a resident of Manchester for many years.

Mr. Buzzell worked for Manchester Water Works for many years and retired from St. Anselm College.

He was loved spending time with his family and friends. Wilfred had been active with the Boy Scouts over the years. He enjoyed going on the camping trips and hikes with the groups. He was an outdoorsman with a love of fishing and hunting.

Surviving family members include his son, Brian Buzzell of Goffstown, NH; daughter, Linda Fearon of South Portland, ME; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Gagnon and Helen St. Onge both of Hudson, NH and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Helen (Yaquis) Buzzell who died in 2007.

In His Life: He is survived by his four grandchildren, Marc Corriveau, Sandy Miller, Cynthia Torres and Victoria Pouliot and his four great grandchildren, Jackson Miller, Joshua Pouliot, Brittney Torres and Brian Torres. He was predeceased by his sisters, Rita Bougie and Beatrice Langlier.

Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 11:00AM.
