Wilfred A. Godbout, 84, formerly of Gove Street, died April 19, 2005 at Harborside Health Care in Bedford. He was born in Bedford on September 26, 1920, the son of Joseph and Eva (Lavoie) Godbout and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester. He was a World War II Army Veteran and fought in the Philippine Liberation Campaign. He worked at Anchor Electric for 25 years until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking. He was predeceased by a son, William Godbout who died in 1996. Family members include his wife of 63 years, Pauline (Raymond) Godbout; two sons, David Godbout of Manchester and Thomas Godbout of Littleton; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Jane) Baribeau of Auburn and Ruth Godbout of New York City; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Demerjian of Methuen, MA; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service is scheduled at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 419, Concord, NH 03110.
