Wilfred L. “Skip” Godbout, 69, of Manchester passed away Monday after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Skip was born in Manchester on June 8, 1952, the son of the late Aime and Anita (Dupont) Godbout. He attended St. Anthony grammar and high school. He graduated from St. Anselm’s College with a degree in biochemistry. He was the lab director for Prevue Products, Coca-cola NE, Stonyfield Farm Yogurt for many years and retired as the lab director at Admix. Skip loved to cook and was an excellent chef. He continued the Godbout legacy of woodworking, cooking, hunting, the outdoors and “yankee ingenuity” and cherished the moments he shared these with his grandchildren.
Family members include his soul mate of 31 years, Judi LaDuke of Manchester; a son, Adam Godbout and his wife Jillian of Hooksett; three grandchildren, Andrew, Jamie, and Zoey.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St on Thursday morning from 9 to 11 AM with funeral services to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Skip’s memory to either the Michael J.
