Wilfred J, Klardie 83, formerly of 7 Pulpit Road, New Boston, died February 24, 2004 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Homes in Goffstown. He was born in Manchester on October 9, 1920, the son of Gerard and Wilamina Klardie and had been a lifelong resident of New Boston. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He had worked for many years as a machinist with Leighton Machine Company. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, horse shoes and spending time in his garden. Family members include six sons, Kenneth J. Klardie of Goffstown, Karlton J. Klardie of Bedford, Keith J. Klardie of New Boston, Kurtis J. Klardie of OR, Kevin J. Klardie of New Boston and Kent J. Klardie of FL; three sisters, Karen Anthony and Kyle Klardie, both of FL and Kim Klardie of CA; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Saturday from 10 to 12 with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00. Urn burial will take place in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
