William Thomas Anderson

Mr. William "Bill" Thomas Anderson, 61, of Manchester, NH died June 13, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family following a difficult battle with cancer. He was born on August 21, 1946 in Lynn, MA the son of the late Roy F. and Nita D. (O'Blenes) Anderson. He was raised and educated in Lynn. He was a resident of Manchester for many years. Bill worked as a skilled machinist for most of his life. He served in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1967. Bill was a dedicated family man. He especially loved spending time with his grandsons. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan (Cochran) Anderson of Manchester; son, Thomas John Anderson and his wife Wendy April Anderson of Pelion, SC; two daughters, Nita Jean Boucher and her husband Adam Paul Boucher of Litchfield, NH and Heather Marie Anderson of Manchester; 7 grandsons; siblings, Don Anderson of Maryville, TN, Fred Anderson of Lynn, MA, Jane Aylwin of Brooksville, FL and Neil Anderson of Danvers MA and many nieces, nephews and cousins of which he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his son, William Parker Anderson who died April 25, 2003. In His Life: He is also survived by his seven grandsons, William O'Reilly, Derek Boucher, Nolan Boucher, Colin Boucher, Issa Anderson, William Thomas Anderson II and Thomas Anderson Jr. He was predeceased by his brother Frank Williams. His Memorial Gathering will be at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00AM. His Memorial Service will follow at 11:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel.
