William John Anderson

William John Anderson, Sr., 68, of 268 Lakeside Dr, Manchester, NH died September 29, 2001 in Salem, OR while on vacation. He was born in Roxbury, MA on June 21, 1933, the son of William and Dorothea (Lowd) Anderson and resided for many years in MA. He had also resided in Stoddard, Concord and Bow, NH and for the past 20 years, spent his winters in Palm Harbor, FL. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked for 27 years for Concord Lithio, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. Family members include his wife of 48 years, Margaret (Rumrill) Anderson; two sons, William John Anderson, Jr., of Cary, NC and Chris Anderson of Manchester; two daughters, Lynn O'Neill of Safety Harbor, FL and Diane Webb of St. Petersburg, FL; 9 grandchildren; a sister, Donna Plaskett of Harwington, CT; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, NH on Sunday October 7 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301.
