William ”Bill” Steven Buck, 70, of Weare NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 8th at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH with his beloved wife, Rhonda and sons Eric and Steven by him. Born July 9th, 1956 in Lowell MA he was the son of Richard “Irving” and Deborah H. Buck. He grew up in Pelham NH with his three sisters Linda Buck, Nancy (Buck) Vachon and Melanie (Buck) Petren and attended Pelham Congregational Church.

William graduated from Alvirne High School and earned his associates degrees from NHVTC for Electro-Mechanical Drafting and Daniel Webster College in Engineering Science. He was a career mechanical designer.

When William met Rhonda Kneeland they quickly fell in love and got married two years after. He embraced his step daughters Jenny (McCarthy) Lussier and Jamie McCarthy and then welcomed sons Eric Buck and Steven Buck. Their blended family resided in Tyngsboro MA and attended Evangelical Congregational Church Tyngsboro.

Being a great father and husband became the center of Bill's life. He enjoyed fatherhood tremendously. Involvement in his son's activities became very important, ranging from coaching their Soccer team, volunteering with Boy Scout Troop 46, watching their basketball games and helping grow their faith.

As a thoughtful loving husband William took great pride in gardening, landscaping and fixing anything around their home in Weare NH. He was known for his great sense of humor and telling corny jokes. With great joy William returned to Weare NH with Rhonda in 2021. He and Rhonda absolutely loved hiking to waterfalls together, photographing nature, art, bible study, old hymns, live christian music, dancing, cozy winter nights by the fire, and watching true stories and christian documentaries on Angel.

William was a follower of Jesus Christ and a current member of Christ Community Church, Weare NH. He loved his church family and wanted to be remembered for his love for Jesus and all he stands for. Bill loved his dogs and cats, historic novels, old cars 50s 60s era, hot rods, and world war airplanes. He enjoyed an active lifestyle throughout his life and he

taught aerobics and competed in multiple Triathlons in his 20s. He loved cycling, swimming, hiking, and basketball. He loved the outdoors and beauty of NH from a young age. He spent many summers fishing and kayaking on Horace Lake where he helped his father build a cottage. Kayaking and fishing became a lifelong hobby that he passed onto his family.

He was predeceased by his sister Linda Buck, parents Deborah and Irving Buck, father in-law Russell Kneeland Sr., mother in-law Marylou (Murray) Kneeland, step mother in-law Beverley (Carey) Kneeland, brother in-law Robert Nicolazzo, and brother in-law Ryne Kneeland.

In addition to his wife, sons, step daughters, and sisters, William is survived by son in-law Joseph Lussier, and his beloved grandchildren Cameron, Eddie, and Stella Lussier and step-grand children Joey and Charlie Lussier of Danvers MA. He leaves behind several brother in-laws, sister-in-laws, and step sister and brother in-laws. Marc Vachon (Hudson NH), Eric Petren (Brandon MS), Kathleen (Kneeland) Crock and Anthony Crock (Sandston VA), Caroline Kneeland (Groton MA), Colette Nicolazzo-Kneeland (Franklinton NC), Russell Kneeland Jr. (Franklinton NC), Celeste (Kneeland) Versoi (Ayer MA), Robert Kneeland and Wendy (Simon) Kneeland, (Stevensville, MD), Radley Kneeland and Jennifer (Wolfson) Kneeland (Groton MA) and many adored nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

There will be a Visitation for William on Monday, September 14th, 4:00 pm - 7:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester NH. Parking is available along Coolidge Avenue and Bremer Street.

Funeral Service will begin Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00am at Christ Community Church, 727 S Stark Hwy, Weare NH.
