William Bill Clark After a long and courageous battle with cancer, died Saturday October 14, 2006. He was born on August 24, 1938. He was born and raised on Clarks Farm in Bedford, NH and was a lifelong resident of Bedford. He went into business for himself at age 13 selling hay. He owned his own land clearing business and started his own sight construction company in the early 1960s that still continues today. Many buildings and roads in surrounding areas can be attributed to his devotion to hard work. He recently attended his fiftieth high school reunion for Manchester High School West. He married his adoring wife Fern in 1964. He is survived by his wife Fern, their daughter, Sara Clark and two sons, Mark and Anthony. His grandchildren, Kirsten, Sara, Smyrna, Kelia and Seanna all of Bedford, His brother, Richard Clark and sisters, Marguerite Knoetner and Louise Clark. Other family members include his daughters in-law, Debbie Clark and Laura Clark. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton, Bedford, on Wednesday at 10:00AM with burial to follow in Bedford Center Cemetery.
