WILLIAM F.P. DESROCHERS MANCHESTER – William F.P. Desrochers, 92, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester. He was born August 8, 1915, in Troy, NH, the son of the late Louis and Julia (Harnois) Desrochers. Mr. Desrochers was a resident of the Manchester for the past 65 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a service manager, for 15 years at Fitch Motors which is now Dobles Chevrolet. He was a communicant of St. Catherine Church and a lifemember of the Knights of Columbus, in Manchester. Members of his family include; his 2 daughters, Beverly Lahey, of Bedford, NH; Kathy Jensen, of Manchester; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Desrochers was predeceased by his wife, Katheryn (Cousineau) Desrochers, who died in May 2004, and by his daughter, Virginia Desrochers, who died in 1964. A calling hour will be Friday, from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Church, 207 Hemlock Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bedford. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mr. Desrochers.
