BETHLEHEM, NH -- William Herbst, age 79, passed away at his home on Monday, May 4th.
William was born on June 1, 1929, a son to Robert and Catherine (Neary) Herbst, in Flushing, NY.
William served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving family members include his wife, Hope Herbst of Bethlehem, NH; one son, William Herbst; one daughter, Pamela Herbst; and two granddaughters. He was predeceased by one son, James Herbst and one brother, Robert Herbst.
SERVICES A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8th in the St. Patricks Catholic Church in Twin Mountain, NH, with Rev. Fr. John McKenzie as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY at a later date.
