WILLIAM G. JONES MANCHESTER – William G. Jones, 60, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Elliot Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Jones was born on May 17, 1947, in St. Albans, Vermont, the son of the late Garnet and Lorraine (Brady) Jones. Mr. Jones was employed in the dental business for the past 35 years. Most recently, he worked as a dental sales representative for Benco Dental Company for the past 15 years. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Jones was a life member of the V.F.W. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and spending time at his hunting camp. IN HIS LIFE: Members of his family include, his wife of 37 years, Sally (Patnaude) Jones, of Manchester; 1 son, Kevin W. Jones, of Manchester, and his fiancée, Maia Peterson; 1 daughter, Becky L. Pinard, and her husband, Brian Pinard, of Goffstown; 2 grandchildren, Kyle and Ashley Pinard, 1 brother, David Jones, of Burlington, VT; a sister, Fern Pouliot, of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jones was known for his quick wit, and his love for his job and friends. Calling hours will be Monday, July 2, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 AM in the funeral home. The Reverend Douglas Rickard, minister of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. Jones.
