William Kerton

William "Bill" Kerton, 73, of Manchester NH, passed away unexpectedly on April 2nd, 2021 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester NH. He was born on April 27, 1947 in Lawrence, MA to the late Vincent & Helen (O'Dea) Kerton.

Bill was raised in Methuen, MA and later lived in Manchester where he would go on to live out the rest of his days. After finishing school he would go on to serve in the US Army. Anyone who was lucky enough to have known him will remember a sweet, eccentric, selfless and generous man who was kind to his core and who cared about everyone else's wellbeing even at his own expense. He had a gift of making others around him comfortable and at ease and made friends with anyone who he was next to.

Bill loved to travel, especially to New York to catch the latest play on Broadway and was an avid BINGO player until his final days, especially with his niece Cassandra. He also enjoyed the simpler things in life, whether it was a walk outside, a good book, or an easy conversation, Bill appreciated the little things that made life whole. He will be deeply missed by many.

Bill is survived by his two brothers Robert & Vincent Kerton; sister Maryanne Kerton; niece Cassandra Cote along with her family Jeff Cote, Jonathan Cote, Mason Cote & Alexis Cote, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Thursday, April 8th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH.
