WILLIAM B. LITTLE

LISBON, NH -- William B. Little, 81, died peacefully at Weeks Hospital on Oct. 7, 2012.

William was born in Atkinson, NH June 26, 1931. He farmed on his family homestead along with employment at Bell Telephone until 1960. In 1960 he bought and operated Baldwin's General Store in Pittsburg, NH until 1969. He started his real-estate career with Davis Realty and developed his own business, William B. Little Real Estate thru 2008.

He was a 32nd degree member of the Masonic Lodge since 1963, a former member of Lions Club & Stump Jumpers of Lisbon, NH and a former member of the Atkinson and Pittsburg NH Fire Departments.

William is survived by his wife, Betsy of 43 years; one daughter Laurie Bacon of Haverhill, MA; two sons William & wife, JoAnne of Littleton, NH; John & wife, Karen of Lisbon, NH; two stepsons James Jewell & wife, Amy of Dover, NH; Darin Jewell & companion, Dudu of London, England. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Lucy (Bilney) Little of Atkinson, NH and brother Samuel N Little of Alpine, TX.

SERVICES – A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, October 17th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating, as well as a Masonic Service. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Atkinson Cemetery in Atkinson, NH.
