William A. Nolan, 82, of Litchfield, NH, died July 5, 2005, in the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH He was born in Everett, MA., on November 7, 1922, and was the son of the late Harold and Rhoda (Brady) Nolan and resided in N. Reading, MA., for 25 years. He has been a resident of Litchfield, NH for the past year and a half years. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII. William worked 40 years as an aircraft maintenance mechanic for Delta Airlines. He was adored by his family and friends. Family members include his beloved wife of 61 years, Celia (Plochter) Nolan of Litchfield, NH; three daughters; Carole Gaffney of Nashua, NH, Paula Brunkella of Thousand Oaks, California and Doreen Berridge of Malden, Massachusetts, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers; Fred Nolan of Corpus Christi, Texas and John Nolan of Lexington, Massachusetts, a sister, Florence Pawlak of Connecticut, many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Nolan in Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 121 Allds Road, Nashua, NH on Monday, July 11th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054. Burial will follow at 2 PM in NH State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
