William H. Pepin Jr., 80, of Manchester died January 21, 2007 at the Hospice House in Concord. Mr. Pepin was born on September 4, 1926 in Manchester the son of William H. and Ellen (Johnson) Pepin Sr. He was a US Navy veteran who served on the USS Dixie in World War II. He was a dental technician learning the trade from his father. Together they worked side by side until the death of his father in 1960 when he took over Pepin Dental Lab, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Sweeney Post, VFW Post 8214 and American Legion Post 2. He loved spending time at the family camp in Bear Brook and tending to his vegetable garden. He was a Patriots fan and avid reader of mystery and suspense books. He had a talent for woodworking and making furniture. He and his wife spent their winters in Zephyr Hills, Florida where they enjoyed visiting with friends. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed dearly. Family members include; his wife of 59 years, Arline (Mason) Pepin; one son, William M. Pepin of Manchester; two daughters, Nancy Zechel of Greenland, NH and Janice Nikitas of Bowling Green, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Enid Floyd of Tallahassee, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, January 26that 10 oclock at the First Congregational Church, 508 Union Street in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date in the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen.
