William J. Powers

William J. Powers, 50, of 37 Briar Hill Road, New Boston, NH, died at Rosemeadow Farms on August 25, 2002. He was born in Boston, Ma., on June 25, 1952, the son of George Powers and the late Dorothy (Whelton) Powers and resided in Northampton, Ma. Before movingand had been residing in New Boston for the past five years. He was a graduate of Deerfield, Ma. Academy Class of 1970, the University of Massachusetts in 1974 and Fellow At Smith College until he worked for Dynamic Research Corp. In 1976 as a computer anaylst. Family members include his father and step mother Therese (MacDougall) Powers of Florence, Massachusetts, two sisters, Carol Cousins of Westfield, Massachusetts and Tracey Michaud of Pasadena, California, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: There will be a calling hour at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 o'clock with the service immediately following at 11 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. A graveside committal service with be conducted by the Ahearn Funeral Home in Northampton, Ma., on Friday morning at 10 o'clock in Spring Grove Cemetery
