Mr. William Rhoades, 65, of Concord, NH went home to be with his Lord and Savior September 3, 2011 while at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in New London, NH the beloved son of the late William and Ethelyn (Rounds) Rhoades.
If you knew Bill, then you would have heard him ask the question "Do you know Jesus?". His greatest passion was ministry. He had done jail and prison ministry for years, and loved doing Bible studies because his life was so transformed by his salvation in Christ.
Bill was a hard working, self employed carpenter with a high work ethic. He was always caring for others and had a love of helping and teaching men the skills necessary to provide for their families. He passed his work ethic on to the men he taught.
He had an undeniable spirit that never allowed him to give up, which made many think of him as the "Energizer Bunny". He was always persevering through all of life's moments. He was truly a man of prayer and passion.
Bill will be remembered for his great sense of humor, encouragement of others and for being a loving and hardworking family man.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Debbie (O'Brien) Rhoades of Concord; daughter, Danielle Mendum of NH; 2 step sons, Bill Barnard of England and Mike Barnard of Hagerstown, MD; 1 step daughter, Angel Poisson of Lewiston, ME; 6 grandchildren, Tyler and Bryce Fairhurst, Kiera Miller, Trysten, Dreiden and Irelynn Barnard; 1 brother, Jerry Rhoades of California, 2 sisters, Jeannie Young and Penny Rhoades both of Nevada, an Uncle Ken Rounds of Nevada, Aunt Betty Rounds-Williams of Tilton, NH, cousins Wanda Smith of East Andover, NH, Dawn Kinevitch of Pembroke, NH, a niece, Brittany Kane of California, 2 nephews, Gregg Rhoades of California, Brandon Rhoades of Nevada and many Christian brothers and sisters in Christ.
