William F. Trumpf, 49, of Manchester, NH, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003. He was born on June 13, 1953 and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bill graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in 1971 and from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1975. Bill relocated to Manchester in the early 1980's. He worked for several years as a fish and water environmental consultant. Following that, he changed career paths to become a land surveyor and was employed by Eric Mitchell and Associates for a number of years. Bill enjoyed fishing, wildlife, camping, cooking and traveling. He volunteered at the Manchester Humane Society and was a friend to Senior Citizens. Survivors include two sisters, Anne Wallis and brother-in-law, Barry Wallis of Atlanta, Georgia and Mary Barton of Seabeck, Washington, his nephew, Nathan Barton of Seattle, Washington; his beloved pit bull, Benn (who has been adopted by his sister Mary); and numerous loving and dedicated friends. Pursant to Bill's wishes, no formal memorial service is planned and his ashes will be scattered over an oligotrophic lake at a later date. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, is in charge of arrangements.
