William D. Warnock, Sr., 76, passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 10, 2018. Born in Manchester, NH on April 1, 1942, he was son of the late Roland and Ruth (Schelzel) Warnock. He enjoyed 23 years of companionship and 11 years of marriage with his wife, Lucie (Matte) Warnock.
A lifelong resident of Manchester, William attended local schools. He retired from Cummings Printing Company after 43 years as a devoted employee, and he also owned Warnock's Auto Body Shop for over 30 years. He served several times as a Grand Knight of the fourth degree with the Knights of Columbus, Council 5163.
William enjoyed traveling; in recent years, he and his wife, Lucie, enjoyed their trips to Florida and Canada. A devoted family man, William was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.
He leaves behind his wife, Lucie Warnock; his son Robert Warnock and his children Joey and Jeffrey; his son Kenneth and wife Myrna and their children Joselyn and Jonathan; his daughter-in-law Tarey and her daughter Reanna; his stepdaughter Isabelle Howe and her husband Nathan and their children Corey, Olivia and Jillian; his stepdaughter Sylvianne Page and her daughter Jackie; his stepdaughter Annie Page; his stepdaughter Joanna Page and her fiancé Pedro Sanabria; his brother Rev. James Warnock and his wife Cynthia; brother-in-law Alain Matte and his significant other Johane; sister-in-law Marie Claude Matte and her husband Jean Yves; brother-in-law Luc Matte and his significant other Josée; sister-in-law Suzie Matte and her husband Sylvain; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his son, William D. Warnock, Jr., and his brother, Richard J. Warnock, Sr.
Services will be on Friday, April 13th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH with visitation to take place between 9am and 12pm and a service with his brother, Rev. James Warnock, presiding in the funeral home at 12pm. He will be laid to rest at Saint Augustine Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in William's memory be made to the National Kidney Foundation/Finance Department/30 East 33rd St./New York, NY 10016.
