Winnifred Freddy McLaughlin, 76, of Manchester and formerly of Berlin died September 28, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center.<br><br>Ms. McLaughlin was born on June 18, 1928 in Waltham, MA the daughter of the late John and Mary (Dalton) Rourke. She graduated with a BS in Home Economics from Framingham State Teachers College in Framingham, MA. Freddy worked for 27 years as a field agent for the NH Cooperative Extension Service, educating school children about nutrition. After retirement, she worked as a Mary Kay cosmetic consultant for many years. <br><br>In her life: Freddy was an avid skier, and thoroughly enjoyed talking politics with her friends. She has 10 grandchildren: Myriah, Dalton, Alexandria, Amanda, Matthew, Sarah, Jacob, Gabriel, Manny and Damien; and one great granddaughter, Kelsey<br><br>Family members include: her daughter, Ann and husband, Keith Richards of Manchester; a son, John Rourke McLaughlin and wife, Sally of Manchester; one sister, Joan and husband, Richard Gamble of Stinson Beach, CA. She also leaves behind her former husband, Richard McLaughlin of Deerfield Beach, FL. <br><br>There will be a Memorial Reception on Friday, October 1st from 1:00 until 2:30 with a ceremony at 2:30 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
