Xavier Luis Morel, 24, of Manchester, NH, passed away on September 10, 2026. Born in Manchester on July 3, 2002, he was the son of Tammy Morel and Lenin Merejo-Suarez.
Xavier was a lifelong Manchester resident who brought unmistakable energy wherever he went. After attending Parkside Middle School, he graduated from Manchester West High School. Xavier was someone who never went unnoticed. He danced everywhere he went. With his magnetic personality and larger-than-life presence, he had a way of brightening any room simply by walking into it. His laugh was infectious and a smile never left his face. He had a wide range of interests, from golfing and playing pool to making his own music and cheering on the Boston Bruins. He also enjoyed family trips to Vermont to go shooting and enjoy nature. He had a keen interest in politics and, at just 18 years old, ran for Mayor of Manchester. Xavier treasured his family above all else. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle who cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
Xavier is survived by his mother, Tammy Morel, of Manchester, NH; his father, Lenin Merejo-Suarez of the Dominican Republic; his siblings, Kayla Pomerleau and her significant other Teddy Dudek of Hillsboro, NH, Kristoffer Morel-Roy of Manchester, NH, India Morel of Manchester, NH, Asia Morel of Manchester, NH, and Danielle Goss of Manchester, NH; his nieces and nephew, Jolene, Rhea, Kaleah and Tryson; as well as his step-father, Sylvain Pomerleau, and his step-sister, Monique Pomerleau, both of Clarendon, VT; as well as many other extended family members and countless friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Jill Wade, and his niece, Kehlani Rueda.
A Memorial Service for Xavier will be held at 12:30PM on Saturday, September 19th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Memorial Gathering will follow until 3:30PM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
