Yun Won Suh

Yun Won Suh, 86, formerly of Manchester and currently of 130 Whiting Street, Hingham, MA died May 10, 2006 at his residence. Born in Seoul, Korea on July 29, 1919, he was the son of In Suk Suh and Chong Rae Hong. He had been a MA and NH resident since 1978. He was an acupuncturist and worked in Belmont, MA for over ten years. He was also a professor at the New England Acupuncture School in Boston and also taught acupuncture to students at MIT. Family members include his, wife Sang Sun (Ra) Suh; three sons, Il So of Manchester; Tong Whang So of Bradford, MA and Tong Ryun Suh of Hingham, MA; a daughter, Tong Suk Porter of Manchester; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; and several nephews, nieces and cousins in Korea. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM.
