BEDFORD – Yvette B. (Lamontagne) Chandonnais, died Friday, January 21, 2011, at the Laurel Center, in Bedford.

Mrs. Chandonnais was born in Manchester, NH on October 18, 1919, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosie (Therrien) Lamontagne. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

At the time of her employment, Mrs. Chandonnais was employed in the shoe manufacturing industry.

She was an accomplished pianist but never took any lessons.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herve Chandonnais, who died in 1993.

IN HER LIFE: Members of her family include; her son, Richard Chandonnais and his wife, Margaret, of Manchester, 4 step-grandchildren, 7 step great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her special nephew, Robert Chandonnais, of Hooksett, who served her communion each and every Saturday. She was a very loving mother to many foster children.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 1, 10:30 AM, at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Avenue, in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later time at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
