Yvette G. Chouinard passed away peacefully at home after a period of declining health. Her care and healthcare was attentatively done with love and concern by her son Richard Chouinard and the home hospice team.

Born in August 11, 1932 to Ernest J.A. Chainey and Irene R. (Yergeau) Chainey in Manchester N.H. residing in Pinardville, Goffstown. Later moving to Manchester, Derry and back to Manchester.

She entered the workforce early in life in support of her family and worked at the factories and mills in Manchester N.H. and Derry. Sometimes she worked multiple jobs. Notable workplaces were the Pandora sweater factory, Jodi shoe factory, Sanders Associate and finally the Raytheon Company (Manchester N.H.), Misssile Defense Systems in support of the US military, she retired with 26 years of employed service. She worked all her life and was proud she was able contribute to the well being of her family Chainey and Chouinard. She was also a generous person whenever she had the opportunity she would aid and share with other family members what little she had. Her respite from work was Bingo locally and at the Foxwood casino, a lifelong activity. Vacations were few but she did enjoy her time visiting her son Wilfred in South Dakota and seeing Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument.

She was predeceased by her parents, her daughter June A. (Watts) Hurley, her brothers Alfred Chainey, Jean Chainey, Robert Chainey, her sisters Jeannette(Chainey) Nadeau, Doris (Chainey) Boutin, Gisele (Chainey) Boutin, Lucille (Chainey) Bourque.

She is survived by her sons Wilfred Chouinard, Richard Chouinard, Robert Chouinard, son-in-law Stephen Hurley, and grandchildren Zachery Hurley, Breana Hurley, Jarid Chouinard, April (Chouinard) Holmes, Christine Chouinard, Robert Chouinard Jr.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 3, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Casual attire is permissible.
