YVETTE I. DIONNE Yvette I. (Provencher) Dionne, 78, of Manchester, NH, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at Bel Air Nursing Home, in Goffstown. Born on August 17, 1929, in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Elzear and Yvonne (Moreau) Provencher. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Dionne was employed for 31 years at Merchants National Bank, where she was a manager. While employed at the bank, she was given the Ralph A. McIninch (R.A.M) award as the outstanding employee of the year. She was a member of the Henry J. Sweeney Post #2, and served as Auxiliary President for 2 years. Mrs. Dionne loved music, animals, gardening and vacationing during the summer at N. Hampton Beach. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Members of her family include; her sister, Pauline “Polly” Sinclair, of Manchester; and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur “Pete” Dionne. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 23, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one’s choice, in memory of Mrs. Dionne.
