Yvette P. (Yergeau) Hudon, 89, of Manchester, passed away at Catholic Medical Center on June 9, 2021, with her family by her side.
She was born in Manchester on May 29, 1932, to Gaston and Blanche (Lapointe) Yergeau. She was a Manchester resident for most of her life and lived in Hooksett for some time.
Yvette worked at Genest Bakery and JM Fields in her younger years. Most of her working career was at Moore Center Services as an administrative assistance for over 25 years. She had many friends and remained in contact with them after retirement.
Family members include two sons, Steven Hudon and his wife Kelly, and Scott Hudon and his wife Dawn, all of Manchester; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Roland A. Hudon, a son David Hudon, a sister, Fernande Genest, and two brothers, Gerard Yergeau and Norman Yergeau.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Bedford Hills Nursing Home for their commitment and loving care.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday June 15th at 2 PM in the NH State Veterans Cemetery Boscawen where she will be interred next to her husband. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
