Yvette C. (Lemieux) Lemay, 79, of 55 South Main Street, died December 24, 2002 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on March 7, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Marianne (Gagne) Lemieux and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She worked at the 724 Cigar Company for many years and was a parishioner of St. Raphael Church. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, sewing and knitting. Family members include her husband of 58 years, Joseph "Marcel" Lemay; two sons, Robert A . Lemay of CA and Raymond A. Lemay of Manchester; two daughters, Irene C. Deschenes of Milford and Doris Petrain of Manchester; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Raphael Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
