Yvette L. (Bourassa) Ouimette, 84, of Manchester, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Elliot Hospital surrounded by her loving family following a sudden illness.
Born in Quebec, Canada, she is the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Roy) Bourassa. A longtime resident of Manchester, Yvette worked alongside her husband, the late Marcial Ouimette, in their family business, House of Plumbing.
A dedicated wife, mother, memere, and friend, Yvette's family was paramount in her life. Yvette will be best remembered for her generous heart and love of family.
Yvette is survived by her three sons, Richard Ouimette and his wife, Debbie of Candia, Gilles Ouimette and his wife, Tracy of Goffstown, and Norman Ouimette and his wife, Diane of Manchester; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah, Melissa, and Jeremy; one step-grandchild, Brian; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Audrey, Andrew, and Scarlett; one step-great-grandchild, Alice; three sisters, Jeannette Vanasse, Lucienne Harrington, and Fernande Dion; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Marcial Ouimette, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage; and her three sisters, Simone Theberge, Yvonne Martineau, Annette Sage; and brother, Florian Bourassa.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave., on Monday, April 2, from 5:00 to 8:00P.M. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00A.M. in the St. Anthony Parish, Belmont St. Committal Service to follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Goffstown Rd., Manchester. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the care provided by The Meetinghouse.
