Yvette Pelletier

Yvette (Ballard) Pelletier, 79, of Merrimack, formerly of Pinardville, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Manchester, she is the daughter of the late Albert and Clara (Chevalier) Ballard. Raised and educated in the city, she married the love of her life, Alfred Pelletier in 1961. The young couple settled in Pinardville to raise their six beautiful children.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Yvette's family was paramount in her life. Known for her wonderful cooking, Yvette demonstrated her love for her family and friends through her savory meals. A talented seamstress, Yvette lovingly made clothing for her children in their youth. With an insatiable appetite for reading, Yvette could be found reading in any spare moment. A devout Catholic, Yvette's Christian Faith brought her great comfort and strength. She was a long-time parishioner of the Parish of the Transfiguration, formerly St. Edmund's Parish. Yvette will be best remembered for her generous heart and dedication to family.

Yvette is survived by her husband, Alfred Pelletier, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage; three daughters, Denise Brochu of Weare, Michelle Foley and husband Thomas of Merrimack, and Susan Garand and husband Marc of Epping; three sons, David Pelletier and wife Deanne of Dunbarton, Daniel Pelletier and wife Lynn of Epping, and Jon Pelletier of Manchester; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Annette Grenier; two brothers, Norman and Lionel Ballard; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Yvette was predeceased by her two sisters, Lucille Raymond and Doris Ballard; and three brothers, Arthur, Paul, and Richard Ballard.

ARRANGEMENTS: Yvette's Memorial Gathering will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Tuesday May 25 from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. Her Memorial Mass will be Celebrated in the Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St., Manchester on Wednesday, May 26 at 10:00AM followed by her Committal Service in the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Monastery of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.
