Yvette P. (Heile) (Chartier) Timmins, 83, of Hampton, passed away at home on Friday. May 9, 2014 following a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Yvette was born in Manchester on March 17, 1931 to Arthur and Claudia (Lacombe) Heile. She was raised in the city and educated in area schools. Following high school, Yvette held several different jobs, then began her career as a barber and stylist at the age of 26. Yvette was the first female barber in the state of NH and, throughout the years, owned several salons and barber shops in NH and Southern Florida. Described by her husband as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Yvette was everything to those who loved her and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul H. Timmins; her children, Andrew Chartier and his wife, Barbara, of Concord, Paul Chartier of Miami, FL, Denise Cook of Manchester and Jodi Rousseau of Hampton; her brother, Jean Heile and his wife, Lorraine, of Hillsborough; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, George Chartier; 4 brothers; and one sister.
