Yvonne M. Dallaire, 89, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully at Hillsborough County Nursing Home on February 21, 2021. Born on November 29, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Jeanne (Monast) Dallaire.
Yvonne was a life-long resident of Manchester, NH. She worked as a patient transporter at Catholic Medical Center until her retirement in 2004. Yvonne was a parishioner of St. Anthony Parish, where she was a member of the St. Anne Society. She loved spending time with family and friends and cherished her many friendships. She was passionate about helping others, volunteering at the Soup Kitchen as well as serving on several committees in her parish, and she logged over 20,000 hours volunteering at CMC. She enjoyed drawing, painting, knitting, and crocheting. She was a member of several knitting and crochet groups, and donated countless handmade items to CMC and various shawl ministries. She also enjoyed her years singing with the "Sweet Adelines" and the "Elliot Voluntaires". Yvonne was a kind and generous person who loved life and will be sorely missed.
Yvonne is survived by her sister-in-law, Simonne Dallaire, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Henri, her sister, Rita Dumas and her husband Raymond, and her brother Francis and his wife Pauline.
The family wishes to thank the C4 Unit at Hillsborough County Nursing Home for the excellent care she received as a resident there.
Services will be held privately.
