Yvonne Doris Ellison

Yvonne Doris Ellison, 89, of Hudson, NH, and formerly of Manchester and Litchfield, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on July 3, 2022. Born in Manchester, NH on March 18, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Ovide and Marie (Pellerin) Soucy. She shared 51 years of marriage with her late husband, James Ellison.

Yvonne was raised in Manchester and was a graduate of St. George High School. She married her husband, James, in 1952, and together they raised six daughters. Yvonne enjoyed sewing, shopping, and reading. A beloved mother and mémère, family was paramount in Yvonne’s life, and she cherished time spent with her loved ones.

Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Ilene Ellison, Denise Whitmore, Jo-Ann Ellison and Janet Hudon; her daughters of the heart, Rebecca Davani, Paula Mizell and Zelda Ziemer; her grandchildren, John Demers, Jason Silver, Christopher Silver, Kyle Lamos, Sarah Elliott, Dylan Davani and Nicholas Hartley; as well as 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughters, Louise Silver and Litty Ellison, her grandson, Brent Silver Jr., as well as her siblings and many extended family members.

Services will be held on Friday, July 8^th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Visitation will be from 9am-11am with a funeral service at 11am. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
