Yvonne M. Pronovost, 87, formerly of 754 Rimmon Street, died April 19, 2003, at Genesis Elder Care, Bedford, NH. She was born in Nampo, Idaho on October 16, 1915, and was the daughter of Francois and Olivine (Martineau) Provost. Mrs. Pronovost moved to Manchester in 1919. She was the widow of Leo J. Pronovost who died in 2000. She attended Holy Angel's School, Ste. Marie High and Hesser College. She loved collecting cook books, traveling, reading up on current events and had learned several languages. Yvonne was a bookkeeper and previously worked at Cote's Bakery, Anchor Electric, the 88 Restaurant and retired from Child and Family Services. Family members include a step son, George Pronovost of Manchester, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in Ste. Marie Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
